Dear Editor:

As a health care professional, I am probably more critical of health care services than some folks. The care that I received at UCMC Emergency Department was so impressive that I would like to acknowledge the people who cared for me.

Leslie G., RN, Melissa C., RN, Dr. Mark Huntley and Sam, EDT, exceeded my expectations while I was in their care. I was treated in the most professional and courteous manner by them.

The radiology staff was also remarkable. Even the other staff members not directly involved in my care were so kind and helpful.

I am employed out of state and it gives me peace of mind knowing that my hometown ED is state-of-the-art and staffed with wonderful, highly-skilled people.
