SPARTANBURG - James "Jimmy" Gaylon Moore Jr., 35, of 821 Patterson Road, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009.

Jimmy was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Dec. 28, 1973, to the late James Gaylon Moore Sr. and Wanda Blankenship Moore Vernon. He was employed by MRB.

Mr. Moore is survived by a son, James Moore, and a daughter, Savanna Moore, both of Spartanburg; and a sister, Gail List and husband, John, of Gaffney.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 1- 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens with services immediately following at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Henry Coley. Interment was in Cleveland Memorial Park, Boiling Springs, N.C.

The family is at the residence of his sister, Gail List, 154 Whispering Pines Road, Gaffney.
