PICKENS - Wayne Henderson and Helen White will return to Pickens for an encore concert performance and benefit in Pickens High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11.

Henderson is a musical legend known worldwide for his lightning-fast "pinch picking" guitar style and White is respected as an old-time fiddler and folk singer in her current home in Southwest Virginia and her native North Carolina.

The two have been playing together as a duo and as part of string bands for about 14 years. Hailing from the heart of the Southern Appalachians where traditional mountain music originated, they provide a glimpse of a relaxing evening of music on a mountain porch.
