Molly Sanders and Michael Bridges Sanders - Bridges

BLACKSBURG - Darryl and Jane Sanders announce the engagement of their daughter, Molly, to Michael Bridges, son of Brandon and Sherri Bridges of Blacksburg.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frances Moss of Blacksburg. She graduated from Clemson University and is a math teacher at Dorman High school's freshman campus.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Phil and Laura Orr of Gaffney and Darrell Navy Sr. of Shelby. His great-grandmother is Mary Ann Elliott. A student at Spartanburg Community College pursuing a degree in welding, he works for Carolina Food Concepts in Shelby.

A December 19 wedding is planned at Hopewell Baptist Church.

Benton - Ritchie

Billy and Debbie Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole, to Joshua Caleb Ritchie.

Miss Benton is the granddaughter of Gene Wilson, Betty Benton, both of Gaffney, the late Joanne Wilson and the late Dena Benton. She is a graduate of Gaffney Senior High School and selfemployed.

Heather Nicole Benton and Joshua Caleb Ritchie Mr. Ritchie is the son of Jerry and Marylin Byars of Gaffney and Terry Purvis of Lafayette, Colo. He is the grandson of Mel Ritchie of Phoenix, Ariz., Doris Purvis of Lafayette, Colo., Rocky and Chris Byars of Gaffney, the late MaryLou Ritchie and the late Melvin Purvis. Mr. Ritchie is a graduate of Gaffney Senior High School and is employed by Quality Masonry of Gaffney.

A December 26 wedding is planned.
