Linda Martin Peeler, 58, of 320 Carson Drive, Gastonia, N.C., passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Gaston Memorial Hospital

She was born July 21, 1951, in Gaffney, daughter of the late Shumpard Henry Martin and Betty Martin.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m. at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia conducted by the Rev. Jerry Millwood. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.

Mrs. Peeler is survived by her husband, John C. Peeler Sr. of Gastonia; son, John Carroll Peeler Jr. of Gastonia; daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly P. and Jeff Bradley of Gastonia and Dina P. Haney of Gastonia; brother and sister inlaw, Michael and Tammy Martin of Gaffney; sisters, Sherry Martin and Deborah Martin of Gaffney; grandchildren, Chasity Lynn Haney, Alexie Makaila Peeler, Gary B. Bradley Jr., Brent A. Bradley Jr., Jonathon Herring, Chelsey Peeler, Olivia, Noel and Hally Simmons; and great-grandchildren, Ayden and Kayla Bell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jenny Martin.
