Urges are a funny thing. Late Tuesday night, for instance, I ran into the grocery store just to buy some milk because I was out of my favorite 2 percent and I'm useless without my morning bowl of raisin bran-type cereal. Stop the politicking Gov. Mark Sanford's resignation would be a win-win situation for Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, who has promised not to join the Republican throng for governor in the 2010 election if Sanford steps aside.
