CHURCH ANNIVERSARY - Youngs Grove Baptist Church, 222 Youngs Grove Road, Blacksburg, will celebrate its 123rd anniversary Sunday, Sept. 6. The pastor, Dr. Larry J. Brooks, will deliver the morning message at 11. An afternoon service will begin at 3, with the Rev. Antonio Smith, pastor of Gowdeysville Baptist Church, Gaffney, as guest speaker.
