Khris Brown Khris Brown It may simply be known as "The Catch."

Fully outstretched, wide receiver Khris Brown made a fingertip, diving catch in the end zone that pulled the Indians within 29-25 in the fourth quarter.

"I just dove and stuck out both hands," Brown said.

Quarterback DeEdward Burris called the 47-yard touchdown catch the best he's seen.

"I thought I overthrew it, but he made a great catch. That was the best catch I've seen," Burris said.

But it wasn't Brown's only big play. Brown had a 15-yard TD catch in the first quarter and caught a 5-yard touchdown to give the Indians a brief lead late in the fourth quarter.

"It was just a screwed up play and I found a way to get open," said Brown of his fourth-quarter TD catch.

Brown has five TD receptions on the season, making him the offense's most potent threat.

"I'm just trying to help the team," Brown said.

Gaffney coach Phil Strickland said Brown has been outstanding.

"He's just a heckuva football player," he said. "He had a great game for us."

Brown also plays defense, so he rarely takes a play off.

"I just suck it up and don't get tired," he said.
