Minnie B. Loftis Minnie B. Loftis celebrated her 93rd birthday with her family on Sept. 6, 2009.

Mrs. Loftis was born in Cherokee County and has resided here all of her life. Her family were charter members of Goucher Baptist Church, where she is also a member.

Mrs. Loftis has a daughter, Miriam Motts, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
