Lady Wildcats fall to Christ Church in straight sets
The Blacksburg High volleyball team lost in straight sets Thursday in a region game against Christ Church.
Christ Church won the three games 25-18, 25-7 and 25-17. Blacksburg falls to 0-2 this season.
Mallory Sanders scored 10 kills and Jada Mitchell had 8 kills to highlight the Lady Wildcats play at the net. Olivia LeCroy and Sarah Thompson combined for 18 assists while Bryanna Tate had two blocks.
"We had really good rallies in the first and third games. We worked well as a team," Blacksburg High volleyball coach Tammy Kale said. "We showed great improvement from Tuesday night."
