Shirley Ramsey Allen, 74, of Bethlehem Church Road, Grover, N.C., passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at home. She was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Cherokee County, to the late Basil Ramsey and Mae Eaker Ramsey Kiser. She had retired from CNC Machine Company in Kings Mountain and was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. More...
Dear Editor: Walmart for years has allowed organizations, with prior approval, to conduct fundraisers in front of the store here in Gaffney. Some organizations that come to mind are the Shriners, Girl Scouts, Salvation Army, Kings of Columbus, V.F.W. and church groups, etc. More...
