Miss Matthews, Mr. Keller married Aug. 28
MRS. JEFFREY CHARLES KELLER (STEPHANIE RENE MATTHEWS) Stephanie René Matthews of Fort Mill and Jeffrey Charles Keller of Gaffney exchanged marriage vows on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at The Dairy Barn in Fort Mill. Dr. Donnie Padgett officiated the 6:30 p.m. double ring ceremony that was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Matthews of Lugoff. Her grandparents are Sylvia N. Satterfield of Wellington, Ala., Sarah S. Kirby of Jacksonville, Ala., and the late W. Roger Kirby. A 2000 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and 2004 graduate of Winthrop University with a B.S. in Chemistry, she is employed by Duke Energy as a Nuclear Chemistry Specialist at the Catawba Nuclear Station in York.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Keller of Gaffney. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Keller, Alberta James, all of Gaffney, and the late Charles James. He graduated in 2003 from Gaffney High School and in 2006 from Spartanburg Technical College with an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. He is employed by Duke Energy as a Nuclear Maintenance Technician at the Catawba Nuclear Station in York.
Mr and Mr. Keller will make their home in Fort Mill after a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
Musical selections included "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," "Air in G," "Canon in D," "Bridal Chorus" and "With This Ring."
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in a romantic A-line lace gown embellished with pearls and sequins. The sweetheart neckline was detailed with pearls, silver bugle beads and sequins and the corset back held a flowing chapel train. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a headpiece of pearls and she carried a hand-tied bouquet of orange tiger lilies, Gerbera daisies and roses, gold and rust alstromeria and white calla lilies.
Brandy Witte of Jacksonville, Fla., childhood friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristina Ford of Loganville, Ga., Ashley Divers of Lugoff, friends of the bride, and Kristie Bickley of Lugoff, sister of the bride. Their tealength teal chiffon dresses featured asymmetrical hemlines and ruched bodices. They carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet.
Steven Bickley of Lugoff, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The groom was attended by his father as best man. Groomsmen were Philip Keller, brother of the groom, Tyler Cunningham, friend of the groom, both of Gaffney, and Michael Parnell of Pageland, friend of the groom.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Keller, at the Fish Market in Fort Mill.

Prior to the wedding, the couple was honored with a number of showers and parties.
A miscellaneous shower was held at Central Baptist Church in Gaffney on July 25. Hostesses were Reda Herrin and Jennifer Thornton.
A lawn and garden shower was given by Chuck and Jan Lowry, Haley and Philip Keller and Patsy Whiteside on July 31 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lowry in Gaffney.
The women of the couple's church gave a miscellaneous bridal shower on Aug. 2 at Central Baptist Church in Gaffney.
The morning of the wedding, the bride's matron of honor and bridesmaids enjoyed a bridal luncheon at the Nature Center in Fort Mill, where they prepared for the wedding.
A miscellaneous shower was held at Green Hill Golf Club in Lugoff on Saturday, Sept. 12, given by Minerva Jay, Theresa Horton, Gayle Godwin, Jeannie Chafin, Donna Matthews, Trish Walters, Theresa Seay, Charlotte Watts, Margaret Ray and Terri Boone.
