Shirley Allen
Retired from CNC Machine Company
She was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Cherokee County, to the late Basil Ramsey and Mae Eaker Ramsey Kiser. She had retired from CNC Machine Company in Kings Mountain and was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family and gardening, traveling and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee S. Allen, and a sister, Evelyn Ramsey Leslie. She is survived by her loving husband, James F. Allen of the home; a daughter, Tracy Kiser of Grove; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carlene and Phillip Enfinger of Monroe, Ga.; sister-inlaw, Betty Allen of Grover; grandchildren, Kimberly Messer and husband, Douglas, of Blacksburg; great grandchildren: Amber Holcomb and husband, William, of Gaffney, Sierrah and Dakota Messer of Blacksburg;, greatgreat grandchildren, Kayleigh and Mason Holcomb; and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 12, from 5-6 p.m. at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby.
