Mary Ellen Mock, 44, of 1220 State Line Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cape Canaveral, Fla., she was the daughter of Pete D. Sharpe and Janice Ellen Atkinson Sharpe of Summerton. She was a graduate of Rocklidge High School in Florida and a homemaker. Miss Mock was a member of State Line Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Richard Tilley and wife, DeeDee, of Chesnee and John Mock and wife, Debbie, of Cocoa, Fla.; two sisters, Sharon Hardin of Chesnee and Drusilla Crozier of Knoxville, Tenn.; maternal grandmother, Raymoth Atkinson of Gaffney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, Sept. 21, from 2:30-4 p.m. at State Line Baptist Church. Services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Larry Fleming officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
