Amanda K. Bright and Christopher B. Blanton Bright – Blanton

Amanda K. Bright and Christopher B. Blanton, both of Gaffney, will be married on Feb. 16, 2010.

Miss Bright is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie H. Bright of Spartanburg and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis P. Petty of Gaffney. Her grandparents are Evelyn Jones, Danny Lann, Hobert Bright, the late Jessie Jones and the late Margie Bright. She is a registered nurse at Mary Black Hospital.

Mr. Blanton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy D. Blanton of Gaffney. His grandparents are Hubert Blanton, Beuhlah Harris, both of Gaffney, the late Mary Scruggs and the late James Harris. He is a Detective Sergeant with the Gaffney Police Department.

Sell – Manning

Mary Grace Sell of Jackson, Miss., and Terry Eugene Manning of Montgomery, Ala., will be married on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at Engel Farms in Lawrence, Mich.

Miss Sell is the daughter of Eckhard Sell and Karen Cornell. A graduate of Michigan State University, she was formerly employed as assistant metro editor for the Clarion- Ledger newspaper in Jackson, Miss.

Mr. Manning is the son of Eugene and Dorothy Manning of Gaffney. A graduate of Clemson University, he is employed as multimedia editor for the Montgomery Advertiser newspaper.
