Dear Editor:

I am a Veteran and I am a member of the American Legion. I also bank with Bank of America and have so for many years.

As we honor our fallen Marine a mistake was made not by Bank of America but by an individual who mistook what was to be done. This mistake was done and was apologized for; we all have made terrible mistakes in our lives and need to be forgiven for such.

I have no ill feelings for this person, nor the bank, as it was a mistake and was not to dishonor our fallen Marine. I will continue to bank with Bank of America and I also ask that everyone else would feel the same way.

As to the county to want to close their accounts with Bank of America, I ask the county to look back at how many mistakes they have made.
