Danny Lee Bright, 62, of 110 Church St., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Elizabeth Byars Bright of Gaffney and the late Loran Lee (Bill) Bright. Mr. Bright was retired, a Gaffney High School graduate, a member of the VFW and

a U. S. Army Vietnam

veteran. He

was a member of Park Hills Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica Ward of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Shirley Bright Cook and husband, Robert D. of Columbia, Nancy Bright Batchelor and husband, Jerry, of Spartanburg and Donna Bright Peterson and husband, Steve, of Cowpens; one grandchild, Cooper; and his fiance, Angelia Sanders.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel immediately following the service.
