Deliah Camp
Deliah Camp, 66, of 112 Martin Lane, Iveywood Park Apartments, Apt. 605, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at 8:19 a.m. at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care.
Daughter of the late Lloyd Camp and the late Christene L. Camp, she was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Cherokee County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, Rosa Mae Lindsey, Sallie Buckson, Luster Camp, Annie Sue Camp, Johnnie Lee Camp and Betty C. Vernon; and a sister-in-law, Francis Camp.
She was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, member of the Musical Choir and the Senior Choir, and was a Missionary worker. She was retired from Limestone Mills.
She is survived by a brother, George E. Camp of Gaffney; a sister, Everlean Allen of Gaffney; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services will be held Friday, Oct. 2, at 3 p.m. at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs C.A. Wallace, Willie Mayes, David Vernon, Ramon Gibbs and L.T. Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
The family is at the residence, 112 Martin Lane, Iveywood Park Apartments, Apt. 605.
