Shannon Pereira-Martin, 35, of Palm Coast, Fla., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at her home.

Shannon moved to the Palm Coast area three years ago from North Carolina. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, South Carolina Chapter Post 9539. She was a huge Jimmy Buffet fan, loved the beach and body surfing and was a loyal New York Yankees fan.

Shannon is survived by her daughters, Ashley and Skyra; her parents, Thomas and Glenys Pereira of Palm Coast; brothers, Joshua Reilly, Tom Pereira, both of Rhode Island, Joel Reilly of South Carolina and Todd Pereira of Massachusetts; and many more loving family and friends.

A memorial fund has been established with Bank of America for the benefit of Ashley R. Cota, Account No. 005566220280.
