A local man's name was mistakenly included in a press release from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office that listed 37 individuals arrested Tuesday as part of a roundup of drug suspects termed “Operation Revolving Door.”

A man named Joshua Millington Harris was not arrested Tuesday, as noted in the sheriff's office release that appeared in Wednesday's edition of The Gaffney Ledger.

Harris, who contacted The Gaffney Ledger, also said he did not reside at the Oak Street, Gaffney, address that accompanied his name.

Cherokee County Sheriff Bill Blanton confirmed the name should not have been included in the list of people who were arrested Tuesday. However, the sheriff did say police were looking for a man by that name. Blanton invited Harris to come by the sheriff's office to clear up any misunderstanding that might have occurred.

Additionally, the address given by authorities for another man arrested Tuesday was not current, according to a woman who now lives at that address. Hank Logan, was listed in the press release as residing on Dogwood Drive, Gaffney. Cherokee County Detention Center jail logs listed his address as Bonner Lake Road.
