A photography exhibit that includes the talents of five Cherokee County artists is on display at SCC’s Cherokee County Campus thanks to an agreement between the college and the Cherokee County Alliance of Visual Artists.

“SCC’s partnership with CAVA allows us to share with our students, faculty, staff and the community the talents of local artists on our campus,” said Daryl Smith, executive director of the campus.

CAVA artists participating in the display are Rich Ponder, Bedford Fitzgerald, Anna Greene, Nancy Elliott and Noah Lindemann. This is the third display by CAVA artists at the Cherokee County Campus.

"The exhibit at SCC’s Cherokee County Campus gives great exposure to our artists,” said CAVA president Cindy Wilson. “And it also gives people who may not stop by CAVA’s Art Gallery another venue to experience the talent that is here in our community.”

The artwork will be on display in the lobby of the academic building through Oct. 22 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday. The show is free and open to the public.
