FIRST AND THIRD The Gaffney High School Varsity Cheerleaders placed 3rd in the 4A division at the Viking Invitational held at Spartanburg High School on Saturday, Sept. 26, and 1st place in the 4A division/Overall Grand Champion at the Panther Prowl held at Chapman High School on Monday, Sept. 28. The team is coached by Elizabeth Ireton and Pam Elliott. The Indian Invitational will be held at Gaffney High on Oct. 10. Competition begins at 3 p.m. (Photo by Lauren Lanham, senior at GHS)
