Jack Everett Henderson, 60, of 1340 N. Limestone St., passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009.

A native of Cherokee County, he was the husband of Rosa Lee Griffin Henderson and son of the late George Buford and Fannie Mae Pace Henderson. Mr. Henderson was of the Baptist faith and worked for Badcock Delivery.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jack Junior Henderson and Ricky Lee Henderson, both of Gaffney; a stepson, Dennis Edward Griffin of Gaffney; six brothers, Jimmy Henderson, Keith Henderson, Gerald Wayne Henderson, George Buford Henderson, all of Gaffney, Roger Pruitt of Shelby and Robert Henderson of Alabama; three sisters, Vivian Horn of Lockhart, Barbara Franklin of Cliffside and Syble Carroll of Gaffney; and eight grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Henderson.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at the home of Eunice and Kenneth Bolin, 183 Phillips Lane, Gaffney, with the Rev. Scott Kierstead officiating. The family will receive friends anytime Friday, Oct. 2, at the above residence.
