Alma Elementary teachers and school volunteers worked with Lowe's human resources manager Thomas Kuehne Saturday to paint playground equipment and do landscaping projects around the school. Alma Elementary was chosen for a Lowe's “Hero Project,” a $1,500 service project conducted annually by the store in Cherokee County.
