POLICE REPORT
About $4,000 in property was reported stolen following the Sept. 22 break-in of a Stephenson Street home.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone forced entry to the residence between 5 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. and took $1,500 in electronics, $400 in tools, $1,450 in jewelry and a $100 weed trimmer. Damage is estimated at an additional $100.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported the theft of two off-road vehicles from Oakdale Road in Cowpens.
According to a police report, someone stole a red Suzuki four-wheeler and a red and white Honda trail bike from a property in the 400 block between 8 p.m. Sept. 21 and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 22. The thief or thieves also took a motorcycle helmet and a 5-gallon can of diesel fuel.
