Coker, 3-0
The Limestone College men's soccer team blanked Conference Carolinas-foe Coker College 3-0 on Tuesday at Saints Field in a clash of regionally-ranked teams.
Limestone entered the contest No. 10 in the latest NCAA Division II Southeast Region National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas rankings while the Cobras were ranked No. 5.
The Saints got on the board quickly as sophomore Keegan Ziada tallied the contest's first goal at the 2:09 mark with an assist from sophomore midfielder Lee Smyth. Smyth assisted on all three Limestone goals. Liam Garner put the Saints up 2-0 with a score at the match's 16:37 mark.
Ziada gave Limestone a 3-0 advantage and closed out the scoring with a goal in the 27th minute.
Limestone (8-3 overall/5-1 conference) outshot Coker (8-1-2/2- 2-1 conference) 11-5 on the day.
Saint goalkeeper Mark Davidson made one save while Cobras' Ryan Lewis had four.
Lady Saints
post 4-1 win
The Limestone College women's soccer team picked up a 4-1 win over Coker College on Tuesday afternoon at Saints Field. The Lady Saints improve to 5-7 overall and 4-2 in Conference Carolinas action. The Cobras stand at 0-11 overall and 0-6 in the league.
Coker scored the game's first goal in the 12th minute as Bridget Clark recorded the point. Limestone responded in the 28th minute with a goal from Bekki Hagarman to even the score at 1-1.
Limestone continued to dominate on the attack in the second half as it scored three more goals. Ashley Alderin-Fleagle recorded her first goal of the season at the 50:46 mark, and Hagarman followed up with another goal 14 minutes later. The Lady Saints' final goal was scored by Devanshea Moses with only seven minutes left in the game. Ashley Alderin-Fleagle picked up the assist on the final goal.
Cobra goalkeeper Carrie Hudnell had four saves while Limestone's Brittany Clark posted six.

Gaffney Post 109 is looking for experienced coaches from Chesnee, Broome, Blacksburg and Gaffney to coach the Post 109 American Legion team and the Post 109 junior team.

Lady Saint golfers finish 12 at tourney
The Limestone College women's golf team finished 12th at the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Saints carded a tworound score of 738 (376-362) during the competition. The tournament was held at the par-72, 5,802-yard Meadowlands Golf Club.
Ansley Smith led the Lady Saints with her 23rd-place finish (85-77 162). Britni Gregory was 44th (87-84 171), Miranda Van Arsdale took 61st (94-92 186), and Rachael Hageman was 70th (110-109 219).
Newberry College won the tournament with a final score of 611.
