Mary Ruth Willingham Parrish, 70, of 847 Beaverdam Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Spartanburg, she was the wife of James (Jim) William Parrish and daughter of the late Notan Willingham and Blanche Vassy Willingham. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Fellowship.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Benjamin White and James Edward White, both of Gaffney; a daughter, Bonnie Godfrey and husband, Earl, of Gaffney; a brother, Donald Willingham and wife, Sheila, of Lake Greenwood; 15grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 9, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Fellowship, 4281 Old Georgia Highway (Highway 29), Cowpens, with Pastor Mike Mc- Connell officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
