Bargain Shoes owner Bennie Blalock attended the Austin City Limits Music Festival recently and sent The Ledger the following: “Here is a picture of Susie Alexander Davis and myself at the Austin City Limits Music Festival last weekend. This is the 11th year for the fest and it included Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, Asleep at the Wheel, Zak Brown Band and about 130 other groups. Unfortunately, no Bob Dylan. It rained like crazy on Saturday and became a mud fest but was still great fun. Ledger was lost in the mud on Saturday. Sorry. Also have included a couple of pictures of chicks in the mud. You could literally skate across the park in the mud. My mother loves the 'Readers on the Road' feature. She just wishes she could get on the road. Maybe one day.”
