Joe Don Ledford, 65, of 151 Erika Lane, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Vero Beach, Fla., he was the widower of Julia Vaught Ledford and son of the late Rev. Gene Ledford and Audrey Ledford. He was an auto body mechanic, a professional fisherman and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by five sons, John Ledford and wife, Margie, Luke Ledford, Mitchell Baker and wife, Kay, all of Gaffney, Joseph Ledford and wife, Trish, of Vero Beach, Fla., and Bobby Baker of Seabring, Fla.; three daughters, Beatrice Ledford Whitworth and husband, Travis, of Clover, Joann Ledford Jaynes and husband, Jeri, and Tammy Ledford Ouderkirk and husband, Todd, all of Vero Beach; three brothers, Dale Ledford and wife, Kim, Larry Ledford and wife, Roseanne, and Lonnie Ledford and wife, Becky, all of Vero Beach; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
