The Gaffney junior quarterback had a season-best performance Friday, rushing for a team high 128 yards on just nine carries and two touchdowns. Christ Church quarterbacks Hunter Townes and Graham Paylor were the ultimate dual threat Friday in a 41-21 win over Blacksburg. Pinpoint passing from Townes helped the Cavaliers overcome four turnovers in the first half for a 24-13 lead. The Lady Saints won the first game 25-22, but lost the next three sets by the scores of 23-25, 24-26, and 22-25. Limestone’ record stands at 7-4 in the conference and 11-12 overall. More ...
