Walden The Cherokee Pregnancy Center will to hold its annual fund raising banquet on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in Broad River Electric Auditorium. Featured speaker will be Kirk Walden.

Walden, a former pregnancy care center director, is owner and founder of Life- Trends and creator/publisher of The LifeTrends Connection Home and Family. He is a former executive director of Women’s Hope Medical Clinic and former consultant with LifeSteward Ministries.

A former professional golfer, he played college golf at Auburn University, where he obtained a degree in journalism. He started writing professionally at age 18 and wrote for three newspapers during his college years.

Walden lives just outside of Nashville, Tenn., with his wife, Jennifer, and their five children.
