Vet trims 9 lbs. of matted fur from puppy
      ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (AP) – Police are investigating a case of animal neglect after an 11-pound male dog was found covered in nine pounds of dirty and matted fur. St. Anthony Police Chief James Smith says police found the dog in a backyard after a neighbor called to report an animal of unknown species in the area.

      LEBANON, Pa. (AP) — Police in central Pennsylvania say they’ve nabbed a real pothead. They say an officer spotted 29-yearold Cesar Lopez inside a convenience store with a bag of marijuana stuck to his forehead.

Banks testing annual fees on credit cards
      NEW YORK (AP) — How much would you pay to keep your credit card? For Randy Dawson, a new $29 annual fee pushes the limit. But he'll likely pay it to keep the Bank of America card he's had for five years. “I feel as though they're holding me hostage over my credit score,” said Dawson, a 46-year-old resident of Johns Creek, Ga. who owns a marketing firm.
