Robert E. ( Bob) Parris, 92 of Griffin, Ga., passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at his residence. Born on Jan. 22, 1917, in Gaffney to the late Robert Edward Parris and the late Eliza Parris, he was one of 13 children. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II and the Korean War obtaining the rank of MSGT. Mr. Parris was retired from Dundee Mills. More...
