Adult and infant CPR/first aid classes planned
The American Red Cross is a primary source for those seeking training in CPR and first aid. This is common certification and many people possess the training.
The Red Cross regularly offers adult, infant and child CPR and standard first aid classes.
The next adult CPR/first aid classes are scheduled for Oct. 22 from 6-10 p.m. at Blacksburg Middle School; Nov. 2, from 6-10 p.m., and Nov. 14, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Cherokee ARC office.
Infant and child CPR classes are set for Nov. 3 from 6-10 p.m. and Nov. 11 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Cherokee ARC office.
Pre-payment and pre-registration must be made. Contact the Cherokee County Service Center at 864-489-6066 or go by the office at 405 N. Logan St.
