Charles David Wylie, 56, of 415 Holmes St., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Bill Wylie and Marie Ramsey Wylie. Mr. Wylie was retired from textiles, a U.S. Air Force veteran and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons, Chad Wylie and wife, Nicole, of Spartanburg and Tony Wylie of Gaffney; four brothers, Donnie Wylie, Richard Wylie, Garry (Butch) Wylie and Bill Wylie, all of Gaffney; a sister, Nancy St. John of Travelers Rest; and three grandchildren, Landen Wylie, Hunter Wylie and Pyper Wylie.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby L. Blakely officiating.

Family members will be at their respective homes.
