Judy Ann Davis, 59, of 703 Beech St., passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at home.

A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence D. and Ether Wisher Smith. She was employed by Ply Gem Siding Group (Alcoa).

Surviving are a son, David Davis of Gaffney; two daughters, Tammy Martin Mullinax and Carol McLaughlin, both of Gaffney; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; a brother, Willard Smith of Alaska; and two sisters, Carolyn Pennington and Sybil Hughey, both of Gaffney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Davis.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 5-6:30 p.m. at White Columns in Blacksburg.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, Oct. 22, at 2:30 p.m. at Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship with the Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ruben Lopez, Chris Putnam, Niles Mullinax, David McLaughlin, Chris Peeler and John Putnam.
