Indians unveil option attack to give defenses more worries
      It’s as if the Gaffney Indians have opened a 1995 circa time capsule. The option offense, run so successfully by the Indians in the 1990s, has been added to the Indians’ offense playbook. The Indians used the play successfully against Nation Ford, including a 26-yard touchdown run by Rodney Rogers who took the pitch from quarterback DeEdward Burris.

Long continues to pile up numbers and wins
      Gaffney’s Malcolm Long continues to pile up numbers - and wins - for South Carolina State. Long was 14 for 19 for 164 yards in the Bulldogs’ 35-20 victory over Florida A&M. For the season, Long has completed 91 of his 141 passes for 1,028 yards. He’s also thrown for six touchdowns.
