Gloria Singleton Spencer Peahuff, 61, of 296 Meansville Road, Apt E-30, Union, S.C., passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, S.C.

Mrs. Peahuff was born in Gaffney, S.C. on December 12, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Oliver Thad and Vivian Spencer. She was the wife of the late William Earnest Peahuff, was of the Baptist Faith, and formerly employed as a convenience store clerk. Mrs. Peahuff loved people and loved being with her friends.

Mrs. Peahuff is survived by a daughter; Tracy Lynn Peahuff Garner and a son, Davy Lee Peahuff, both of Union, S.C.; a brother, Steve Spencer of Gaffney, S.C.; grandchildren Shane Peahuff and Shanna Garner; and great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Dylan Peahuff.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Peahuff was preceded in death by a son, William Dale Lee Peahuff.

Visitation for Mrs. Peahuff will be on Friday, October 23, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of the Shuford Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services will held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 3 p.m., also in the Funeral Home Chapel at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens following the service.

The family will be at 107 Lovers Hill Road, Union, S.C. 29379.
