Ricky Glenn Moore, 48, of 1460 S. Green River Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Tracey Howlett Moore and the son of William (BIll) Moore and Janice Ramsey Moore of Gaffney. He was the owner/operator of Upstate Machinery and co-owner of Home Fabric Finishing.

Mr. Moore was a graduate of Gaffney High School and furthered his education through his work.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he participated in the Easter drama.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Bradley Scott Moore and wife Jordan of Gaffney, Tyler Brandon Moore and fiance Rebecca Adams of Blacksburg, and Kevin Christopher Moore of Gaffney; a daughter, Jennifer "Brooke" Moore and fiance Andrew Mikota of Gaffney; a grandchild, Lauren Moore; two brothers, Greg Moore and wife Debbie, and Shawn Moore, all of Gaffney; and maternal grandmother Onnie Ramsey of Gaffney.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Terry Pleasant officiating.

Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church (Easter Drama Department), 2929 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, S.C. 29340.

The family will be at the residence.
