Indians intent on keeping Jackets winless
      The numbers say it all. Fort Mill has given up 339 points this season, an average of more than 40 points a game. On offense, the Yellow Jackets have scored only 114 points, or about 14 points a game. But Gaffney coach Phil Strickland said his Indians can’t afford to take the Yellow Jackets lightly in their region matchup today at The Reservation.

      Saints hire Pitt wrestler Limestone College Head Wrestling Coach Trent Goodale has announced that Zach Sheaffer has joined the Saints staff as an assistant coach. Sheaffer comes to Limestone after an outstanding four-year career at the University of Pittsburgh.

Ewing tops crosstown rivals
      Ewing completed a big week with a 14-12 victory over Gaffney Middle on Wednesday. L.J. Peake tossed a pair of touchdowns passes to Cheeseburger Douglas and Johnte Smith. Hyleck Foster also scored on a 2-point conversion. The Eagle defense did its part by stopping a potential tying 2-point conversion in the waning seconds of the game.
