Upstate Piedmont Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly meeting at 10:00AM on Friday, October 30th,

in Room 209 of Spartanburg Community College-Cherokee Campus. Meeting is open to UPCC members, their guests and any business owner interested in the program or more information on the mission of UPCC.

Lois Johnson from the Small Business Adminstration office in Columbia will present a program on benefits and tax credits available to small business under The American Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

This is a follow-up meeting to the July 29th program presented by the SBA/IRS and will be more detailed andspecific to the needs of small business. There will also be a local banker in attendance specializing in SBA loans.

There are many benefits available to small business.

Some must be applied for by Dec. 31, 2009.
