Thomas Ray Reid, 56, of 601 Davis St., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at his residence.

Son of Maxine Rodgers Reid of the home and the late Napoleon Reid, he was born June 5, 1953, in Inman. He was employed by Medley’s Concrete of Gaffney.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Reid, Napoleon Reid Jr. and Jerry Mayberry, and a sister, the late Ida Mae Rodgers.

Also surviving are a brother, Carnell Reid of Gaffney; two aunts; three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery.
