In an effort to help parents and students deal with gang issues, Bethel Baptist Church will host a gang awareness seminar Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m.

Guest speaker will be Sgt. Jimmy Brown Jr. and other officers of the Tyger River Correctional Center in Spartanburg.

Information about identification, signs, location, dress and other pertinent points will be discussed.
