 The Gaffney Police Department reported a burglary on East Floyd Baker Boulevard.

According to a report, someone gained entry to a storage room inside a residence in the 200 block between Oct. 21 and Oct. 23.

Nothing appeared missing from the storage room but about $100 in damage was reported.

 The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported the theft of an air conditioning unit from a Swofford Drive home.

According to police, the theft occurred in the 200 block between 8:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Oct. 23.

The unit is valued at $3,000.

 The Gaffney Police Department is investigating an Oct. 29 incident during which an unknown man allegedly harassed a female jogger near Thomson Park.

According to a police report, the 19-year-old jogger was running down South Limestone Street at about 3:20 p.m. when an unknown older white male diving a gold Lincoln pulled into the park’s lot and then got out of his car to approach the jogger.

The jogger responded by running toward East Oneal Street. As the jogger got to Corry Street, the same man came down the street toward her in his vehicle and was trying to open his passenger side door.

 The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported a burglary on Minkum Road.

According to an incident report, a resident of the 100 block discovered an open door upon returning Oct. 29 at about 12:45 p.m.

Nothing appeared missing or disturbed, however.

 A burglar forced entry to a Harris Trail home between Oct. 28 and Oct. 29.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone broke a window to gain entry to a home in the 100 block.

Nothing was taken, however, as the home was empty.

 The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported the burglary of two residences on Quarry Road in Blacksburg.

According to a police report, someone entered two residences in the 300 block between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Oct. 29 and took air conditioning equipment, a stove, a dishwasher, a sink and a light fixture.

 The Gaffney Police Department reported the theft of a moped from Prime Outlets — Gaffney on Oct. 28.

According to a police report, the owner of the bright red 2008 Velocity moped had used a padlock to chain the vehicle to a post.

The moped was taken between 1:45 p.m. and 2:40 p.m.

The moped, valued at $750, had a tear in the seat and a crack in the fender on the left side.

 An all-terrain-vehicle was reported stolen from a Gibbons Road, Blacksburg, property recently. According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone took a yellow 2006 Honda Four Trax Foreman from a property in the 300 block Oct. 28.
