Previously employed by Wilson’s Chicken; retired from textiles

Vivian Reynolds Mullinax, 81, of 131 Misty Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Lenoah Mullinax and daughter of the late Fred Reynolds and Omie Henderson Reynolds. She was previously employed by Wilson’s Chicken and was retired from textiles. She was a member Browns Chapel in Pacolet.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jim Wilson and wife, Becky, of Gaffney; a daughter, Sybil Hill and husband, Roy, of Gaffney; a sister, Ruth Lowery of Pacolet; five grandchildren, Bill Wilson and wife, Linda, Bob Wilson and wife, Brook, Brad Childers and wife, Leslie, Missy Fowlkes and husband, Mike, and Tammy Daggerhart; 10 great-grandchildren, Kim, Brandi, Sarah, Jared, Mikey, LeeLee, McKala, Billy, Alexis and Taylor; and eight great-great grandchildren, Dakota, Devin, Kierstyn, Jacob, Adam, Landon, Nick and Scout.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mullinax was preceded in death by a son, Joe Dean Childers, and a daughter, Carolyn Wilson.

Services were held Sunday, Nov. 1, at 4 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Henry Guyton. Interment was in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of Jim and Becky Wilson, 106 Fortanberry Road.
