RAMSEY Cassandra Ramsey had trouble believing she held a $100,000 winning ticket in her hands.

“I was shocked,” she said when the Bags of Cash instant ticket she bought revealed a $100,000 top prize. “This means a new life has started for my child. I can also share with my family and church,” the Gaffney mom said.

Ramsey purchased her lucky ticket at Gene’s One Stop in Jonesville. The retailer received a 1 percent selling bonus of $1,000. Every retailer that sells a claimed ticket of $10,000 or more earns a 1 percent commission. The selling bonus is capped at $50,000.

Bags of Cash is a $10 ticket with an estimated $9.7 million in total prizes remaining, including six top prizes of $100,000.
