Education Week is Nov. 15-21

Cherokee County schools will observe American Education Week on Nov. 15-21.

The theme is “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility” reflects the National Education Association’s calling upon America to provide students with quality public schools so that they can grow, prosper and achieve in the 21st century.

Schools will be open to visitors from the community between 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Here’s the schedule:

Monday: B.D. Lee Elementary, Mary Bramlett Elementary, Alma Elementary, Cherokee Technology Center

Tuesday: Gaffney High, Limestone-Central Elementary, Goucher Elementary

Wednesday: Corinth Elementary, Draytonville Elementary, Ewing Middle and Gaffney Middle

Thursday: Blacksburg Elementary, Blacksburg Middle, Blacksburg High and Blacksburg Primary

Friday: Cherokee Community Learning Center, Luther Vaughan Elementary, Grassy Pond Elementary, Northwest Elementary and Granard Middle.
