Gobble! Gobble! Gobble!

Get your children into the Thanksgiving spirit by letting them enter the Cherokee County Public Library’s Handprint Turkey Art Contest.

Children 12 years old and under can go to the Gaffney library, pick up an entry form, which includes a handprint, and then decorate the handprint to look like a turkey.

The turkey can be decorated

using any media – crayons, markers, felt, feathers, etc.

Entries must be returned to the Gaffney library by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, to be eligible for the contest. There will be one winner in each age group: 0-4, 5-8 and 9-12. Entries will be displayed in the children’s area of the library.
