Bethel Baptist holds school issues night
In its continuing focus on youth issues, Bethel Baptist Church held its annual school issues night on Wednesday, Oct. 7. More than 100 persons participated, including parents and school children and several Cherokee County School District 1 personnel who presented topics related to elementary, middle school and high school.
Devotional services were led by Michael Cannon, Tyler Littlejohn, Rajshun Mayberry, Jabria Reid, James Brown and Harold Dean Littlejohn.
School presenters were Sharon Jefferies, principal of B.D. Lee Elementary; Chanay Skinner, counselor at Granard Middle School; Corettia McElrath, English teacher at Gaffney High School; and Natalie Cannon, teacher at Limestone Elementary.
Dr. J.W. Sanders Sr., Bethel pastor, gave closing remarks.
