Upstate Piedmont Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly meeting Friday, Nov. 20 at 8 a.m. in the Stephenson Conference Center at Limestone College.

Featured speaker will be Darrell Scott, Vice President of Public Policy, of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. He will present the 2010 Competitiveness Agenda as derived in grassroots meetings of local chambers last September. This agenda affecting business and quality of life in South Carolina will be the focus of Chamber efforts when the state legislature convenes in January 2010.

Scott will also present the results of the 2009 South Carolina legislature which was one of the least productive sessions in South Carolina history.

The meeting will be open to the public as well as UPCC members and guests. A continental breakfast will be served. You must call (864) 490- 2900 to reserve a seat as seating is limited.
